Winter 1999

Well Christopher has been very busy the past couple months. He and Mom had a pretty scary time when they went to get his first haircut. Somehow the hairdresser managed to cut his finger, and so not only was that the day of his first haircut, but also the day of his first ambulance ride and his first stitches. Dad got to the hospital just as the doctor was putting in the stitches. What a day! His finger has healed fine though.

For Thanksgiving we all flew to Indiana, where Christopher got to play with all his cousins, aunts, and uncles. He even helped Grandpa get up to speed on his new iMac (well they did play Bugdom together on it, anyway).

Then we got the house decorated for Christmas. Christopher really liked the lights on the house, and playing with the ornaments on the tree (amazingly, there were no casualties). We flew to California in time for Annie Grannie's birthday, and spent a completely cloudless Christmas in California. Christopher got lots of great toys of course. He also caught a cold, but it didn't dampen his spirits much. He went wild chasing the four cats, and now he tries to meow when he sees a cat in the yard. He especially enjoyed playing with his cousin Nicolas.

Christopher liked all the leaves that came with Fall...

Especially when they fell all around him.

It's January, time to take down the Christmas lights.

I can help vacuum up the Christmas tree needles Mom!
